FARM TRAINEE PROGRAM
We provide a home environment to assist and support men and women to find meaning and purpose in their lives and to find a way back into a confident and successful life.
Our program is for a voluntary two year minimum term and graduates who enjoy their work can stay longer. Bennetts River Farm can always be their home.
Applicants, who are at least 18 years old, can live at Bennetts River Farm, come to work and learn a trade in our farm operations. Our trainee care team encourages and supports our apprentices in development in job skills, life skills, education, physical activities, healthy eating, faith, art and literature. Each farm trainee lives and makes their home on the farm in their own studio and they meet for cooking and recreational activities at the Community Center. It is our intent that the trainees spend much of their lives offline with us at the farm.
